The Comfort Inn & Suites in New Port Richey is now open near U.S. 19 and Main Street as part of the city's revitalization, with a future larger project called Aqua Harbor planned on the former Magnuson Hotel site, adding condos and a hotel with a rooftop bar, bringing significant upgrades and tax revenue to the area. This 89-key hotel is a successful step in the city's long-term vision to upgrade its entrance. The development aligns with New Port Richey's Community Redevelopment Plan to beautify the U.S. 19 corridor, add quality lodging, and boost local economy and tax base.
